For the past 7 years, I've lived in a mid-sized cosmopolitan city called Taipei. My experience growing up in a different country—from tackling language barriers, battling identity crisis, feeling stunted in life, and many others—has been everything but easy.

I used to wish that there was a magic formula to adulthood that could help me figure it all out, or at least, fast-forward this process and take me immediately to where I should be when I reach 40. While I was busy conforming to what society deems as "doing it right", I often found myself feeling overwhelmed, worn out, lost, and unhappy.

What an awful way to enjoy the only life you have, am I right? 

I'm going to be straightforward with you. I am no expert. Like any other confused young adult, I'm still striving to get out of the woods that we call adulting.

The experiences I went through, however, have allowed me to learn a lot of new things and develop different perspectives. As an ever-evolving human, I'm fueled by my desire for continuous growth.

And that brings me here...
